Toast the beginning of this year’s Oregon State Fair by enjoying an evening of food, wine, brews, spirits and music at Pairings! on Friday, Aug. 21.
Attendees can stroll the lush summer gardens while savoring the flavors of some of Oregon’s finest chefs, distillers, micro-brew masters and winemakers.
Pairings! takes place on the 2-acre garden on the 17th Street side of the Oregon State Fairgrounds.
Music will be provided by Five Guys Named Moe.
Participating wineries, distilleries, restaurants and food purveyors this year include Ankeny Vineyards, Honeywood Winery, Noble Estate Vineyard & Winery, Stone Griffon Vineyard, Willamette Valley Vineyards, Bull Run Distilling Company, Elixir, Inc., Adam’s Rib Smokehouse, Bentley’s Grill, Gamberetti’s, Glockenspiel, Melting Pot Candy, Simply Thyme, Willamette Valley Cheese Co., Jenuine Desserts, Willamette Valley Grill, Venti’s and others.
Pairings! tickets are available online and cost $35, which includes wine, brews and cocktail samples, food and entertainment, plus a free admission to come back to the Oregon State Fair, running Aug. 28 through Sept. 7. The event is from 4 to 9 p.m. and is for ages 21 and older. To purchase tickets, go to oregonstatefair.org/event/pairings.
